RBBM III - UNDERSTANDING

Prerequisite: RBBM I, RBBM II and have read Defensive Living and The Gift of Fear

Suggested Electives: Fearful/Feral Dog Workshop (on-line)

A minimum time span of 8 months between RBBM II and this course is required.

Duration:

7 consecutive class days

3 group Zoom class sessions within a month after in-person class (3 hours each)

1 group Zoom call 4 months after class (1 – 2 hours)

This seven (7) day + course is designed to provide in-depth understanding of the neurobiology of canines, how to better understand why we are working with and trying to achieve in the mind of dogs, and how we affect the dog and the human in more ways with our communication. The Zoom classes are designed to teach and discuss the human psychology of communicating (to others) and how to reach not only the dog, but your clients as well. This is a heavy lecture/discussion course. The student should be prepared to take copious notes and engage in mental discussions. This course provides the “why” behind RBBM/RBT to a high level of detail.

There will be dog and human handler partners there as an example to observe interactions.  We will learn from, interact with and practice how we communicate with the dogs and the humans. The Instructor will point out many aspects of interactions and how RBBM/RBT works, in real time. This helps the student to understand the ultimate goal of Relationship Based Training (RBT) and understanding with canine/human examples.

The Zoom segment of class is designed to teach the student how to better understand and reach other humans in communication and this method.

This course helps the student to broaden their knowledge and begin to see how much additional there is to learn and to inspire you to learn more.
